What do you like most about where you currently live?

Where I live is friendly, safe, quiet, close to shops and restaurants, fairly close to city centre.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am retired now. I enjoyed my medical job, and now enjoy my retirement.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy meeting friends, going for a walk and DIY. I can play squash, tennis, table-tennis and basket ball.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I enjoyed everywhere I visited previously, which includes: various parts of UK, most European countries, major cities in USA, middle east, Mauritius, India and Thailand, and enjoyed them all.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I booked a holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia for February. I like to visit most countries in the world that I haven't been to yet: China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Africa, South America.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Ideally meeting in a cafe for a drink, and possibly a snack. Plenty of chats and laughs, and see how it goes.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I would like her to be honest, open-minded and adventurous.

What makes a good relationship?

In a perfect relationship, both partners feel comfortable with each other and try to bring out the best of each other. Both are positive about their interaction, and about life in general. They have plenty of laughs, friendly chats and fun.

What makes you laugh?

Best laughs occur when I'm with a friend, or friends, and something funny is said that makes chuckle. Most stand-up comedians make me laugh, including Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntire and Sarah Millican.

What music do you like?

Wide ranging from pob to classical, including ballad, country and western, and rock, singles or bands. I do not have one favourite singer as such, but some singers have several songs that I like, such as Robbie Williams, Adele and Rihanna, among others. I also enjoy musicals.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My highlights include: seeing my three daughters grow, prosper, and become independent. Also enjoyed my long medical career, specially seeing my patients getting better and smiling again. Also meeting friend and all my travels.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

For me and my daughters to continue being happy,. To meet a woman with whom we both feel happy and comfortable. And for all people of the world to live in peace, and for planet Earth not to be safe and the oceans to be clean.
