I'm happiest when I'm wearing my walking boots, map in hand, and looking a little windswept. I'm hopeless at sitting still on a beach and sunbathing. I get bored too easily once I've finished my sandwiches.

I'm not very formal, and can't remember when I last wore a suit and tie. I like interesting food but I'm happy with a pizza or tucking into the salad bowl. I suppose I'm more likely to go to an old castle or a museum than I am to a pub, unless its a pub with a band playing in the corner. I love gigs of the punk-pop variety, even if I am the oldest one there. And in the words of Frank Sinatra, "I can't dance, don't ask me". I'm also not one for theatre or fine dining.

Would like to hear from a broad-minded non-smoker, who has a good sense of humour, likes live music, and doesn't mind getting a little damp.

PLEASE NOTE: If I could find the option to turn off the utterly pointless "winks" I would use it.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking, hiking, camping, getting lost, writing, photography, swimming, cooking when I'm not sure what I'm making, and going to gigs, (indie bands, rock, punk, folk, all sorts)

Where in the world are your favourite places?

The New Forest, The South Coast, The Lake District, Finland,... I don't really have a favourite

What are you looking for in a partner?

A pair of walking boots and a smile

What makes you laugh?

All sorts of things, but mostly things that are inappropriate to laugh at.

What annoys you?

Silly rules on sites like this which say you must answer at least three questions.
