What do you like most about where you currently live?

I love my detached house in a quiet area on the edge of town.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I'm retired now but used to work in an office. I enjoyed the busy environment and having excellent work colleagues.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I am a huge motorsport fan, In particular Formula 1 and Motogp.. I will be attending my 23 British Grand Prix in the summer. I also enjoy going to see live music and interesting presentations at the theatre. I enjoy watching tv and listening to music.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Apart from Silverstone, I love the Isle of Skye and visiting the coast, especially Aberystwyth.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I'm not interested in going abroad so I would say that I'd like to go to Cornwall as I've never been to that area of the country.

What would you do on an ideal date?

I like the idea of visiting a place like a stately home followed by a nice meal or good old fashioned fish and chips, then settling down at home snuggled on the settee by the fire with a glass of wine.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who's patient, romantic, caring and kind. No hassles or family troubles. Preferably child free as I am not maternal and have never had children. Hopefully someone who would enjoy motorsport like me and would be happy to fit in with the timetable of races. They will also need a good sense of humour

What makes a good relationship?

Communication is key. Being able to listen as well as talk is critical. Feeling confident to share thoughts and feelings and even just being there as a shoulder to lean on... hugs are important too !...

What makes you laugh?

Peter Kay, Father Ted, Billy Connelly and classic comedy like Joyce Grenfell. I don't like smutty, rude jokes as they are totally not my cup of tea.

What music do you like?

Motown, Coldplay - seen them live twice ! Northern Soul, Disco, Folk and some classical. All sorts really apart from punk, rap and trad jazz.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Marrying my darling late hubby...he was everything anyone could ever wish for.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Finding happiness again. Sharing special times and making new memories with someone who is sincere and not just after the physical side of a relationship. Someone who would be a friend as well as a partner.
