I believe I'm a affable guy who like many not too happy talking about themselves or blowing ones own trumpet but given the nature of this site its about letting prospective partners know about oneself. I've had an early career in industry and served an engineering apprenticeship. Did a degree in materials and set off on a research career completing my Ph.D in 1984. Academic work took me all over the world and a lucky person I am.
Joined a youth organization called the Woodcraft folk at the age of seven and remained in it all my life being on its National Council for many years. The organization is socialist in nature with a small s but it led me to experience a life that was more to do with equality and freedom of expression for young people a desire to fight injustice and campaign for the equal rights of all. I've tried to live my life like that with various degrees of success and failure. I've got a lot to give and share. What about you ?
