What do you like most about where you currently live?

By the coast. Not too big, not too small.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I'm retired now, so I enjoy that.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking, hiking, reading, music. Love a live band. Watching a good film or a box set.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Not a jetsetter. Prefer to travel in the UK. Dales, Lakes, Scotland, Ireland etc.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Shetlands and other Scottish Islands. Been to many, but there are many more.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Relaxed chat. Coffee, beer or just a beach walk and a bag of chips. Maybe a meal; depends on the weather.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Laid back, honest, non judgmental. Clever and curious. Casual rather than a dressy type.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust and shared interests.

What makes you laugh?

Got a dry/dark sense of humour. Frankie Boyle, League of Gentlemen, Alan Partridge, and too many to mention.

What music do you like?

Predominantly rock and blues, but bits of other stuff too.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Hopefully, the best is yet to come.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Making a friend, and hopefully a partner, but friend is ok. Prefer the company of women to men, and if it's just someone to have an occasional meal or a chat with, then so be it. Would like more but it would have to be the right person, with a true connection and trust.

Would like someone to travel the UK with, share memories with, whatever they may be.
