The steampunk scene interests me; it speaks to the hopeless romantic in me.

I like a good Sci-Fi movie, though my favourite movie is actually "Grosse Pointe Blank," you know, the one with the iconic quote, "Where are all the good men dead, in the heart or in the head?"

My philosophy in life is simply "The little things make the big things great," right?

Basically, I'm a 55-year-old, long-haired, steampunked, life-infused misfit of nature who believes that the only time to stop having fun is, well, never really :) Let's face it, life is just too short to sit on the sidelines and watch, or to settle for anything less than exactly what you want.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's quiet, and the people are nice and friendly.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

My boss is great, and I get along with my work colleagues.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I'm learning to play the guitar, though, surprisingly, that's not as relaxing as you'd expect. I also like to spend time with my friends at the pub. You know, a few drinks and something to eat.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I'd love to visit New Orleans and Thailand.

What would you do on an ideal date?

I'm captivated by the beauty of nature and the enchantment of the night sky. Imagine a tranquil picnic in a stunning location, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With no city lights to interfere, we'd be able to admire the starry spectacle above. Picture us on a warm evening, savoring delicious food and each other's company against this breathtaking backdrop. Or, if you'd like, we could just go to the pub.

What are you looking for in a partner?

The most important thing I'm looking for in a partner is that they are serious about making a relationship work. And I don't like arguing, so the ability to sit down calmly and discuss any problems that may arise in our relationship is important.

What makes a good relationship?

Communication is key in a relationship.

What makes you laugh?

What doesn't. I like sarcasm and dark humor.

What music do you like?

I'm very eclectic when it comes to music, but no rap, opera, jazz, and definitely no Taylor Swift.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

The birth of my daughter.

Experiencing new things with that special someone.
