Hello, I am a reasonably well read and travelled guy, happy go lucky, genuine, trustworthy, with a good sense of humour.

I have a wide and varied circle of friends with whom I socialise, and I enjoy current affairs programmes, real life crime and documentaries I occasionally have a whisky or two at birthdays and Xmas time but to all intents abd parposes I do not drink.
Since I travel very frequently to the Central Belt of Scotland, I would be pleased to meet a girl from that area, or even further afikeen to connect with a like minded lady who has a similar outlook on life.to enjoy time with, go out for meals and perhaps do some travelling with. What do you like most about where you currently live?

It is quire laid back, the locals are friendly people. Both beach and country are only minutes away.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy getting out for a walk, travelling (a holiday buddy would make a good start), watching Buckie Thistle, entertaining others, eating out (less since Covid), if not encouraged out, I watch someTV.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I lived for five years in South West France, near Bordeaux, but enjoyed all the various places there that I visited from the English Channel to the Med.
i also like Nothern Italy, Venice, the Lakes and Dolomites, but Rome is nice too.

I crossed the USA.from East to West including New York, Chicago and San Francisco and would like to repeat.
Finally, Lets not forget the UK, especially Scotland!

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would like to visit USA again, Canada, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Have a nice walk on a beach or in the countryside, followed by an apèritif, a cosy meal for two.

What are you looking for in a partner?

A caring, intellligent and not unattractive girl who appreciates me for my good manners, wit and attentiveness. Someone who dfresses well, but who is shy rather than flirtaious, enjoys good conversation and enjoys my company, as I hers.

What makes a good relationship?

Willingness to compromise, caring for and supporting each other. A good sense of humour too.

What makes you laugh?

My own silliness, good stand up, slapstick, also dry humour but without excessive profanity.

What music do you like?

Almost any genre, but not keen on ‘rap’ or ‘grime’.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Thirty happy years of marriage to my late wife, Katrina, our daughter Lorraine’s childhood, her growing up, my two grandsons (and Son in Law).
My career in Freemasonry.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Hopefully meeting a nice girl, pthaps with luck, a good lasting relationship for us both. I would like to meet someone locally, but I have no qualms in meeting that special person anywhere from North of England Northwards😎😎😎
