I am genuinely single guy almost 6'0" tall, medium build (maybe a few extra pounds), with blue eyes, short greying hair, and a clean shaven fair complexion. I think I am attractive, honest, intelligent, well mannered and nicely spoken with a thoughtful, caring, and sensitive inner self. With the right lady I am both sensual and passionate and very tactile. I have a sense of humour (but don't all the ads. say this?) and have learned to be able to laugh at myself and not take life too seriously.

I like to think that I dress smartly (albeit classical rather than trendy) and I am equally at home in jeans and a T-shirt, in fact that is what I wear most of the time at home.

My home is in north Leicestershire and close to open fields and the countryside, but I am equally at home in the city environment too.

I have no children of my own and do not (now) want children of my own.

I have a young outlook on life and enjoy all the normal interests of eating out, cinema and occasionally the theatre. I love to socialise with my small, but highly valued circle of friends. Like me they are great conversationalists.

I have many other interests and I am told that I am particularly good at DIY (perfectionist is the word most often used) rather sad don't you think? I enjoy keeping my garden tidy too.

I like walking on the beach, whether it is in the med. or on the east coast.

I love both sunshine holidays and travel in general.

But life isn't all about getting out and about, I love home life too, in fact I really cannot think of anything better than a quiet intimate evening in with a soul mate. Cooking a meal together, a glass or two of vino and lots of conversation and cuddles.

I don't post a picture, but I am happy to provide one to anyone I CHOOSE to message or chat with. That does NOT mean I shall provide one on demand, just because someone halfway around the country asks for it. This does not make me deceptive, nor does it mean that I have something to hide. It means that I am sensible, that's all.
