OK, a little about me that's not elsewhere in my profile. I'm an active 73-year-old, definitely not yet ready for my pipe and slippers! I'm genuine and serious about meeting someone special. I'm clean, presentable, solvent and have my own home, car, hair and teeth as well as a good sense of humour. I can dress up or down to suit the occasion - but to be honest, these days, it would be nice to have a few 'occasions' to get dressed up for! Anyway, I've had a good education and continued to learn throughout my life. Qualities that are particularly important to me are kindness, sensitivity, compassion, generosity, courtesy, decency, honesty, mutual respect, trust and humour. These are things I offer (as well as chocolates and flowers from time to time!) and are what I'm seeking in a partner.

Initially, I'd like to take things gently so I'm looking for friendship first and to share things together. I'd hope that, in time, a relationship would develop from that. Ultimately, I'd like to have someone special in my life; a companion, partner and, dare I say it, lover - someone to hold hands with, to cuddle, to laugh and to cry with, sharing the good times as well as the bad.
