About Chris48
Chris48 is single and is seeking females for a serious relationship.
I’m currently looking to move home. If I can find the the right place at the right price
not far from where I live at the moment I will stay in this area. Otherwise I would like to move to North Yorkshire/Cumbria/ Northumberland area. 🤞I can find somewhere local to where I am at the moment.
Although retired I still work part time ish. I like to be active, it keeps the body and brain cell ticking over. Also, the extra money is very useful. If I’m not working I’m either out walking, visiting places of interest like NT or English Heritage properties or off on holiday. I’m still adventurous and willing to try most things.( excerpt bungee jumping and sky diving). I have a good sense of humour and always, to quote Eric Idle ‘Look on the Bright Side of Life’.
Although I’m a vegetarian I don’t object to meeting an omnivore.
Look forward to talking to someone soon.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I am in the process of looking to move home. Hoping to find a property about 4/5 miles away so I can carry on with my job. The bit of extra cash is always useful..
In the countryside. Fields and views.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
As I am ‘supposedly’ retired, I just kept my customers who are good payers. When I was full time I worked around the customer, now though, the customer has to work around me. If it’s a nice day I do my own thing. If it’s remaining I’ll work.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
If it’s a nice day I like to go off walking/ hiking. I also enjoy visiting National Trust and English Heritage properties. Love visiting different parts of the country as well as other parts of the world.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I like lots of places. There are several places in this country that I like, The Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, Cumbria area, Wales and Scotland.
There are too many places that I would say are my favourite.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I’ve been to several places which I liked but am going off the long haul flights. So would now like to visit more of Europe.
Would be willing to go anywhere if I had some company. Can get lonely going on holiday on your own.
What would you do on an ideal date?
A first date would be a drink or pub lunch so we start to get to know each other, followed by, weather permitting, a short walk if that’s agreeable with my date. Or visiting a National Trust type of property.
What are you looking for in a partner?
A good sense of humour, similar interests to me. Someone who likes the countryside/outdoor life. Travelling and adventurous. Honesty and faithfulness. A soul mate 🤞🤞.
What makes a good relationship?
Honesty, trust and being open and not hiding anything. Holding hands when out and not being afraid of showing affection.
What makes you laugh?
I’ve got a Monty Python sense of humour, so anything a little on the silly side.
What music do you like?
It’s got to be late 50’s, 60’s, and early 70’s.Also like ‘trad’ jazz.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Still being alive. Also being fit enough to go on decent walks and still having a sense of adventure and wanting to have new experiences.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Would be nice to find my soulmate. She’s out there somewhere🤞🤞
