Hello Lovely People!

I'm Christian, a lover of the outdoors, creative writing and supportive relationships. I really like hiking, cycling and outdoor swimming, and I'd ideally like to meet someone who would be willing to try camping (but not on a first date!). I'm an honest and considerate man who genuinely values people and has respect for women. Due to a long-standing health condition, I no longer work fulltime and devote my time to learning to design things (a current hobby that may become a small business one day) and a small amount of voluntary work. I'm always seeking to improve myself as a person and to cultivate emotional honesty, particularly in relationships.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It’s near the countryside and there’s a real community feel to it.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Occasionally, I get to do insect handling. The other week, I had to introduce people to a giant African millipede. Millipedes are good for social occasions, they sort of wear a tuxedo so are already prepared for mingling.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Wild swimming, salsa dancing after wild swimming. Hiking or cycling which a chance to… wild swim!

Where in the world are your favourite places?

The British museum and Malian tarn in Yorkshire, a great place for swimming.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

The lava fields near Keflavik. Iceland in general but the bits where the volcanoes are active.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Go on a decent hike followed by coffee and cafe and a sunset.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who likes the outdoors, has a good sense of right and wrong and is a positive influence on my life.

What makes a good relationship?

Two people who can work as a team and give time and energy to each other.

What makes you laugh?

Dark humor, the funniest thing I’ve ever seen is the Inbetweeners.

What music do you like?

Vangelis and Ramon Djawadi.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Getting to spend time in Nepal and parachuting (not parachuting in Nepal, although that would be exciting).

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Maybe setting up my own business and getting in that trip to Iceland.
