What do you like most about where you currently live?

Quiet road, nice house and nice neighbours

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

As for my job, I was teacher for 37 years. Everything from eleven-year-olds, GCSE, 'A' levels, undergraduates and post graduates. I loved it all, but probably working with sixth formers was the most rewarding.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Playing guitar, reading, gardening, helping my grandson with his college work.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Canada, Turkey, most of western Europe.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Back to Canada. Also Scandinavia

What would you do on an ideal date?

Nice meal and perhaps a show.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Friendship, female company

What makes a good relationship?

Just getting on. Caring for the other person

What makes you laugh?

Mainly myself. I do do silly things some times.

What music do you like?

Most. Classical, folk, modern pop, west end shows.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Firstly marrying one of the nicest people I have ever met, and secondly becoming a Principal Lecturer after about nine years of study.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Seeing my children and grandchildren happy and contented. Making a good female friend and the end of wars.

How do you get over the death of a loved one?

You can't, but you can make the best use of your time by remembering all the good stuff and helping other people.
