I'm still married but my wife has severe dementia, she has been in a nursing care home since June of last year, I will remain married until my wife passes away. The person I married has been lost to dementia and psychosis, she has not recognised me for quite some time and cannot speak coherently but I do visit her at least twice a week. Over a year later, now that she is in the best environment and with the best care I feel that life must go on. After a near fatal car accident many years ago, I realised then how precious life is, we only have one chance at life and we must make the most of it. I'm looking for a soulmate, a best friend, someone for a long term relationship to share life's experiences with and to spend quality time together dining out, travelling, holidays, having adventures and generally making the best of what life has to offer. I've nothing to hide, I believe that I've been open and honest about my situation and why I'm on this site, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
