What do you like most about where you currently live?

Friends are here, easy travel connections, amount of green spaces, diversity of area.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Everything!! I am retired.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

So many favourite leisure activities! Gardening, art projects, writing for pleasure, socialising (if I can remember what that is), museums and art galleries,cooking..and some others.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

In Europe I enjoy visiting Germany, Italy and of course Spain. I have recently discovered Southern India. Such a wonderful assault on the senses.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would love to visit the East. Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan. But go off the beaten track. I prefer to be away from tourist spots.

What would you do on an ideal date?

I dont really have an ideal date. You could be in the most wonderful place, but if there is no attraction it would be awful. Simple dates to test the water are fine: a walk, a drink , an art gallery or museum. Anything which either of you can walk away from with ease.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I look for humour primarily in a partner. This is followed by loyaly, honesty and a quiet confidence.Not the overbearing sort.

What makes a good relationship?

So many things make a good relationship. Opposites attract as do shared interests. Chemistry is important, a spark, liking what you see.

What makes you laugh?

Many things tickle my funny bone. If its funny, a giggle with errupt!

What music do you like?

I have an ecclectic selection of music to choose from. Genres I am not keen on are heavy rock, garage, rock'n roll. There are a few others but dont know what they are called. Recently discovered R'nB.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Hightlights of my life so far are all the people I have met and the friends I have made. The fact I have reached this age is also a highlight!

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I hope the future finds me hale and hearty, hopefully with someone to share life.
