As I turn 50 I feel it is time to reflect upon my life.

Not that it is anyone's fault; even mine despite it being my life, but I am the first to admit that my life has not been filled as a glass half full. I have had so many ups and downs in my life that I feel like the worlds first subterranean roller-coaster.

Finding myself here in May 2024, with one physical social friend, that I see maybe three or four times a year. I have many friends online through Dating and Friendship groups such as this, but in reality I only really meet these friends at occasional events and meets organised through these groups.

Like many on here in similar situations, I have spent many years unemployed due to ill-health and felt unable to attend the many meets advertised due to insufficient funds or lack of self-confidence, as well as not being the type of person that is into dancing and drinking into the early hours.

Initially I am Introverted and Shy, but once comfortable in company I open up and can chat for England on certain topics. As you will see I am overweight and to be honest with you I have got past the diets and trying to lose weight promises; yes I know I could be healthier, but I am psychologically content and happy as I am, I am also partially disabled, but I am fiercely independent and I am not looking in anyway for a carer, I drive and I work full-time and do as much as physically possible for myself.

I am not a huge hobbyist, but I do like most kinds of Movies; mainly Action/Revenge & Historical., I like most kinds of music; but my favourites are Rock & Roll, Classic Rock and fun Novelty songs. I am a huge Automotive enthusiast and enjoy events, museums, shows and races. I like to go out for random drives to places I have never been before, using roads never used before and finding out where they lead; hopefully to a nice country establishment that serves good food and drink.

Ideally I am looking to find genuine, physical female friends from this group to interact with on different levels and share each others time and passions with. I am sure we all are searching for companionship, friendship and love.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

As a Mini-Cab driver I like the fact that my job is varied and I get to interact with all aspects of society, I am always learning new things. I never have a dull day and do my best to make each persons day brighter!

What are your favourite leisure activities?

My favourite leisure activities are going to the cinema; I like most kinds of movies apart from Horror and am always willing to try new genres of movie. I also like driving in the country and finding country pubs and places of interest. Also I occasionally play snooker and pool and enjoy socialising with friends and eating out.

What are you looking for in a partner?

In a partner I am looking for Honesty, Trust, Friendship, Fun and Openness. I do not take myself too seriously and know I have my faults and I am looking for someone to see past any faults I have and I will do the same to whoever I meet.
