Most mornings, I sit alone in the visually inspiring setting of the Welsh hills, drinking tea watching the sun rise.
The Greatest gift I have ever received is a philosophy that will light up a lonely heart. That philosophy is destiny. It's not just a philosophy, it's an idea. An idea where both hope and destiny collide.

Destiny is the spark which lights the fire that clarifies, cuts through and captures the essence of the evolutionary
spirit. Just imagine. That first meeting, friendship, chemistry, that first kiss. Knowing that someday, we are
going to stand on top of that mountain, holding our future, right there in our hands.

Now that I have your attention, lets take a journey behind the magic.

Kick off your shoes, pour yourself a drink, turn down the lights, sit back, relax and enjoy the journey..

- THE BEGINNING -

Years ago, when I was a kid, I watched intently as Alex "Hurricane" Higgins, the snooker legend, win the World Snooker Championship. That single event motivated myself to pick up a snooker cue and start playing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not very good at it, even so, I find it relaxing.

I feel so alone, I am haunted by solitude. I seem to live my life in between the ticks of a clock, outside the conventional mainstream. I often think that someone like myself is not meant to find happiness. Destined to be alone, I find myself in a perpetual state of emotional heartache. I find comfort in my passion for movies. I can immerse myself in a great film and for a brief moment, my pain and loneliness, just falls away.

The best education I have ever experienced is travelling. I love to explore and develop an appreciation of other cultures. Art, History, Music and the Written Word. Along the way, I can taste cuisines I have never tried before.

On the subject of food. My favourite meals are Cantonese, especially sweet and sour dishes. Complemented with either Oriental rice or noodles.

I am well groomed, smart appearance and clean cut. I shower every morning, use LYNX shower gel, LYNX deodorant and wear aftershave.

If you are looking for romance, a warm person who has a heart of gold. Honest and will take care of you, then take my hand and lets reach for the stars. Together, we can trip the light fantastic and explore beyond Event Horizon.

- A SYMPHONY OF DREAMS -

Each of us, at some point in our lives, look up at the stars to ask the question "What do I want out of life?".
For myself I am seeking a caring, warm person who I can build a connection with. Someone who likes to
cuddle up on the sofa and spend the rest of my life with.

Searching for the one who can stand on the edge of a lake, looking into each others eyes and dream, just dream. I don't mind if you have children or pets.

What begins as attraction will become an emotion founded on the one thing dreams are made of, Hope.
For life is not about the amount of breaths you take, it's those moments that take your breath away.

The sun is about to come over the horizon, it's time for me to say goodbye. It’s a brand new day, in a brave new World. I wish you could be here to see this, the lights coming up over the water.

As I sit here on the hillside, I can't help contemplating the future and the adventures to come.
I think our best days are ahead.

So take a deep breath, roll the dice and lets take that first step and begin a new journey together, today.

Oh, just one more thing:-

When the sun rises on a new day. Let it always rise on our dreams of Hope and that other great human adventure, Destiny.

BELIEFS: - Mennonite Christian Philosophy, Family First, Existentialism, Keep Sunday Special, Enlightenment.

PERSONALITY: - Although professional and confident, I am an old school kind of guy, who thinks outside the box. With a pioneering soul and a frontier spirit. Below the surface however, I am falling apart. There is sadness in my heart, life experience has taken it's toll. In an ever increasing connected Society, I find myself emotionally disconnected, distant and abandoned.

Although I live and work in the digital ecosystem, I feel more of a connection between myself and the Mennonite and Amish Communities. I struggle with the contradictions of modern life. Disillusioned, I find myself torn amidst a dichotomy of two Worlds.

One, a modern, fast paced, yet often a cruel and foreboding place. The other, a World with a much slower pace and a simpler way of life, that is less demanding and closer to the serenity of nature.

Caught between two conflicting Worlds, I find myself regressing from Society. Withdrawing from the outside
World. Going off grid, wanting to spend the rest of my days, living in a log cabin, somewhere in the wilderness.

PROFESSION: I.T. - Immersive Software Development. Embedded in High Concept / NextGen Op. Systems.
Developing code for Intuitive applications. My field is in Linux Mint, Elementary O.S., Solus Plasma and UNIX.
(DevOps Ex Machina).

MAIN HOBBY:- International HAM Radio and C.B. (Citizens Band) Radio.

When I am not working, I like to spend time in my radio studio. Talking and listening to radio enthusiasts all over the World. I have been a licensed Radio Ham for over thirty years. I run two antenna masts installed at my homestead consisting of an array of beam and vertical antennas.

I operate a Yeasu FTDX101D Base Station for International Communications and a President GRANT II C.B. radio for local C.B. contacts. It's a great way to relax and keep in contact with friends.

MUSIC: - Predominantly Classical - Bach, Beethoven and Mozart to more contemporary composers such as:-
John Williams, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Alan Silvestri, Jean Michel Jarre, Enya, Rondo Veneziano, Vanessa-Mae, Mike Oldfield, Harold Faltermeyer and Vangelis.

My favourite piece of music is the score from the film "Chariots of Fire" composed by Vangelis Papathanassou. Along with the Epic and Triumphant track entitled "Titans" from the film "Alexander". Vangelis has become an essential and pivotal inspiration throughout my life.

Sometimes a song comes along that transcends the beauty of musical composition. A song that touches the Hearts and minds of generations across the World. That song is "From a Distance" written by Julie Gold and performed elegantly by Bette Midler.

I especially love the Nanci Griffith rendition of this song. It reminds us that even in our darkest moments, belief, faith and above all, Love, are our greatest friend. "From a Distance" is an anthem of Hope and a clarion call for peace that remains the most moving ballad, I have ever heard.

My other beloved songs are:-

"Love can build a Bridge" performed beautifully by The Judds.
"Wind Beneath my Wings" sung by Bette Midler.
"May It Be" by Enya from the film "Lord of the Rings".
"Book of Days" from the film "Far and Away", also sung by Enya.

My most cherished Hymn is "Amazing Grace".

MOVIES: - The type of movies I enjoy are the ones that push the envelope. Experimental, Thought Provoking, Atmospheric and Visually Inspiring. Although I enjoy different types of films, I seem to gravitate towards abstract and Philosophical Science Fiction. Encompassing themes of Evolution, Existence and Humanity.

My favourite film of all time is:- " 2001: A Space Odyssey ".

Kubrick's Epic Masterpiece took us into Space. This groundbreaking film propelled the art of storytelling and cinematography to the next level. From the Dawn of Man to concepts of Interstellar exploration. For myself,
it is not just a movie, it's an obsession with a journey through the Cosmos.

My other influential go-to films are Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Tron, Blade Runner, The Abyss, Avatar, Prometheus, Dune, 2010: The Year We Make Contact and of course, Star Wars.

I believe film, although subjective, should be both a cinematic experience and pure escapism.

- NEW HORIZONS -

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I'm sorry it's so long, Instead of a prelude, it became a Magnum Opus. A neoclassical monologue that contextualises my past, present and embodies my hopes and dreams for the future. It's not only a testament to my character, it's a window into my restless heart.

As I reflect back on my life, I know I have made mistakes. I have many regrets. My biggest regret is not having Children. I find myself thinking, where did It all go wrong. Someday, I hope to have a family.

What makes us Human, is the inherent ability to learn from our mistakes. To move on, to a better future.

When I look in a mirror, what is reflected back, is a ghost. What have I become, merely a shadow of my
former self. In the end, what frightens me the most, is growing old, alone.

In a dystopian World of lost dreams and disappointment. I find myself setting sail on a journey, to a destination unknown. The future, uncertain. Battling against the odds, searching for a Princess. A broken man
on a lonely odyssey. Seeking the one destiny, that continues to elude my life:-

"An Angel with a guiding light, known as Hope."

I have so many good things to tell you about myself. However, that's a new chapter, for another day.
