About FamilyDad
FamilyDad is single and is seeking females for a serious relationship.
I asked my friend and neighbour the other day "Why do I find it difficult to meet the right lady?" She said "Nick, it's because everyone sees you as the evening's entertainment when you're out. You are nice looking and very talented. On top of that you are always nicely dressed, are the perfect gentlemen, you are emotionally available and intelligent and totally non-judgemental.These qualities are rare and can be scary to some women and in equal measure attract the wrong women.
She went on to say:
"It's not until people get to know you personally, that they see the real you. The guy who never looses his temper. The guy who is also talented in the kitchen. The guy who is the first person our community comes to when they need something done and your payment is a thank you and a smile. The quiet confident guy who makes everyone feel special and good about themselves. The guy who lights up a room with just his presence.
There's nothing like someone who knows you well to tell you the truth, so here I am and that's my story.
Is there a similar lady out there? If so, feel free to drop me a message with your story.
Positive vibes to you all and I hope you find love and happiness xx
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I love living in my village. All of my neighbours are fabulous and we fall over each other to help each other out. If we don't need each other then we look after our own business
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
It helps me to keep fit and healthy. I can manage my own time and help others to get their job done.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I like to be out and about during the warm weather especially by the sea.
I like to go to pubs and entertain people.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I've been all over Europe and I couldn't choose a favorite place, so my favorite place in the world is home.
What would you do on an ideal date?
On an ideal date it would be somewhere where we could talk in peace and get to know each other.
What are you looking for in a partner?
In a partner I look for someone who has a great sense of humour. If you can't laugh together there's no point in the relationship.
I also look for someone who shares the value of equality. Being equal is an essential part of any relationship. However, I like my partner to also understand that being treated like a queen doesn't diminish equality.
Someone who is tactile, loves a cuddle and knows the importance of having her hand held. I'm really a big teddy bear.
What makes a good relationship?
A good relationship is built on truth and honesty. If you don't have these two foundation blocks then any relationship on any level is bound for failure.
My hero, my step-dad not only taught me that, but showed me. The way he treated my mum, the way he made her feel like she was the most important thing in her life, the way he showed her how much he loved her and made meaningless words redundant. If I show half as much respect as he did in my relationships then I honour his memory. He's a hard act to follow which is why I say half.
What makes you laugh?
Everything! I used to be in the entertainment industry so I learnt that laughter was the best medicine in the world.
My sense of humour is a little childish at times, but it's a lot like Bradley Walsh (The Chase).
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Having my children. They bring so much joy and happiness. I love children. They love you unconditionally and without judgement. Unfortunately, my children are of an age where I'm not needed any more, so I'm proud that I've done my job and taught them the value of being independent.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
In the future I'm looking for someone to be my forever partner.
