fred4386 is single and is seeking females for a serious relationship.

I'm single, retired and live alone in the West End of Edinburgh.
I think I'm normal - but that's only my opinion !
No baggage as in no ex- wives and children.
I'm fairly well travelled having spent quite a few years in Southern Africa and some time working in France.
I happily settled in Edinburgh some 20+ years although, for my sins, I'm English although from the North East so not quite beyond the pale!

Bungee jumping or Marathon running aren't my thing (:-)) anything else I'll try at least once.
I'm fully house trained, cook, wash and iron, even do washing up and a dab hand at DIY. I come come complete with a fully equipped tool box.

My ambition is to mature, slightly disgracefully, and enjoying life with a like minded mature woman who has a mind and opinions of her own but likes affection being shown in word and deed, cuddling and holding hands.

Central but very quiet

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

That I don;t have one ! retired

What are your favourite leisure activities?

In no particular order reading, cinema if there;s a film worth seeing, a little TV, DIY, playing with computers NOT games, building maintaining repairing. Cooking and eating the results, nothing exotic but edible ! and a little red wine now and then, more in the right company.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Rhodesia, a beautiful country with lovely people.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I'd like to see New Zealand it looks amazing and I'v yet to meet a Kiwi I didn't like. The South seas warm beaches

What would you do on an ideal date?

For a first date meet for light meal/coffee to see if there is - a spark of interest for both - and the opportunity for either to run for the hills if there isn't.

What are you looking for in a partner?

A sense of humour is a must., A woman with her own mind thoughts and ideas some common interests and able to hold a conversation with me getting the odd word in !
Being drop dead gorgeous wouldn't put me off. Drop dead gorgeous isn't skinny.

What makes a good relationship?

Genuine affection, liking the person as themselves, honesty and trust, love and more than a little passion.

What makes you laugh?

The world and life. sometimes you have to laugh or cry. I'd rather laugh.

What music do you like?

Some classical, some jazz, R&B some country but mainly 60s and 70s The Shadows !

Being happy - even being in love
