What do you like most about where you currently live?

Living on the coast.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I enjoy working as part of a close knit team supporting adults of various ages who are unable to support themselves and dealing with the challenges that that produces.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy a good read, my interests are crime and political thrillers/mysteries from the romans through to modern times. I'm also interested in maritime history in both a factual and fictional setting. I also read the occasional biography/autobiography of people that have interested me and cover a wide range of subjects.
I enjoy being out and about, beach or countryside, not phased by the weather as long as prepared. At home, a bit of gardening, DIY when needed, dabble a bit in the kitchen, trying to cook.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Canada, Falklands and South Georgia, Copenhagen.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

There are lots of places in the uk that I would love to see, but abroad I'd like to revisit Canada and Scandinavia and cruise the fjords. A once in a life time trip would be to cruise Antarctica. I'm not much of a sun/beach person, much rather find out the culture and history of a place.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Caring and honest who can laugh at themselves as well as with others.

What makes a good relationship?

A relationship lasts when people are honest with each other, can talk things through and resolve any issues together. They should trust in each other and at the same time be able to laugh at themselves.

What music do you like?

My musical taste is eclectic, and it's generally the music that attracts me first rather than the lyrics. My taste has been accrued over a long time and influences from many people and places.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Seeing many places about the world with the navy and not as a tourist

What are you looking forward to in the future?

To share the ups and downs of life with some one as we tick off the items on our bucket lists.
