I am a personable and sociable lady who now finds herself alone after a long relationship that ended due to bereavement. I am reasonably well educated, have an interest in many things and can converse on a wide range of subjects. I read a lot, always looking to learn new things and enjoy history, geography, the arts and culture in general. I was an avid theatre goer pre-Covid and enjoy most genres. I spend time watching TV, listening to music, researching on the internet, gardening and occasionally shopping. I am very particular about my appearance and regularly go to the hairdressers and nail bar. I love clothes, but am not a slave to fashion. I like to go out for a good cup of coffee, a nice meal somewhere and spend time in the countryside or at the coast when the weather allows. I enjoy meeting people and I love anything that makes me smile. I have enjoyed many holidays in the UK over the past years, but have not been abroad for more than 17 years. When I did travel I visited Spain, Majorca, France, Belgium, Ireland and Guernsey.
Above all things I am looking for a gentleman in every sense of the word who wants to spend time with someone like me. He should be reasonably well educated, have a good command of the English language and be able to at least string together a few well written sentences. He should have at least some hair, as not into the shaved look! He should be in good health, but making allowances for the aches and pains of the older generation. We should be able to make time to be with each other and not be too overwhelmed by family commitments. It is preferable if you are over 60 years of age, not just looking for casual sex, not married or live more than an hours journey away from where I live.
