'I used to be a secondary English teacher(I know I must be mad), After 18 years I had time off for good behaviour, and now run my own driving school.

I'm from Wales originally, now living in Southampton. I used to be a professional guitarist, now still teach it, and play for fun. I'm quite an eclectic person really, like a wide range of pastimes. I wouldn't say I'm mad about clubs, but do go occasionally, prefer old traditional pubs, especially if they have live music and a log fire. I'm quite a keen gardener, and grow a lot of my own veg, which I also like to cook. I enjoy reading, as you would expect, but music is my passion.

Half of my degree is in history, and I love going around historic buildings, museums and art galleries, but I'm not doing this all the time, don't worry, I'm not a geek!

Teaching is very rewarding, and challenging

Playing and listening to music, enjoying a beer, socialising, walks in the country, art galleries and museums, occasionally theatre

meet up for a drink, and then a meal, followed by a walk along a beach

Someone who can have a good conversation, and also a good laugh, who is willing to try what I like, and introduce me to things that she likes
