I am 85 years old, a widower. I'm looking for someone to be with often. I'm a home-lover, but I'm not a recluse. I like to eat out now and then, but not too often. I read a lot and visit libraries. I have a house and a car, both paid for. I get on well with my neighbours, I'm currently tidying my garden, making it easy to manage. I wish I could cook decently. TV: I leave a news channel on most of the time. I record films and documentaries and watch them while I'm eating. My relatives all live in Sussex. I went down there last Christmas, 2023. That's the only time I've had away from home since before Covid. I'd enjoy a break but don' t fancy it on my own. I don't imagine I'll ever go abroad again; I'm happy in the UK. I like to travel on public transport, not least because it's mostly free. You don't see anything when you're driving a car, and you don't smile at anyone.
