Hello, I’m dipping my toe in again here, to see if there may be any like minded people who are looking to meet someone new for new adventures. I don’t hold much hope as even on here, a man has told me that I am looking for a man in a million, “so good luck!”
Please don’t say that the bar is set so low for you men on dating sites? Because what I’m looking for is, perfectly normal for an adult woman.
So I would love to meet someone who is intelligent, altruistic and emotionally stable. He would like to travel and enjoy going on interesting adventures however big or simple. He will have his own interests and be working or a busy retiree.
I am creative and somewhat bohemian in style and mindset, love ambient music and music festivals, however I’m also academic and would love to meet someone who can teach me things I haven’t learned yet. I’m always open to learning and believe we should never stop learning to create a better person. I’m looking for a gentleman who is educated and articulate. Although, I am fiercely independent, quite modern, I’m also an old fashioned and feminine lady at heart…..I love to cook and keep my home pleasing and peaceful….but also like to use the odd cathartic swear word. Lol.

“I’m not looking for a hook up….let’s make this clear. I’m not looking for someone needy and they must have their own money and be able to pay their own bills. I’m not here to be a substitute mother, sugar or otherwise or pander to someone’s whims. IF I agree to talk to you….you are not entitled to own me or think that I now must revolve around your wants, needs and messages or phone calls. There are men on here who seriously think that women are desperate for a man! They think they are entitled to have their needs met first without bringing anything to the table themselves! That is not for me! I am looking for someone to enhance my life as I would want to do for them.
I have a fulfilling and busy life, so I will not respond to those who just send random messages, such as “ fancy a chat” “How are you?” with no other intelligent interaction….and I will block other random messages.
Within 10 minutes of being on here, I had “ I fancy you, do you fancy me?” “ what kind of man are you looking for”
( read my profile) and others that I’m not repeating.
I really am looking for an intelligent, ADULT mature brain and interesting man to connect with, so please tell me about yourself and show enough interest in me as I would with you. There’s so many on here who show no interest and don’t ask one single question, that would have no appeal for engagement at all! Thank you x
