I have been single for years on account of I didn't really know what I wanted in life, but I reckon it would be nice now to meet some people, see how it goes and remember that life is for living. I think it is better to die living, then it is to live dying. That doesn't mean I am a mad on the go fella, but life is too short to to get stuck into drama. I have recently come out of retirement to play rugby again after 9 years and I have just given up smoking and generally being a lazy lump.

I like interesting people, especially those with quirks and characteristics that make them unique. I can't be doing with watching soap operas or other mind numbing TV shows. I do like sports, but I like reading, nature, walks and spending time with the right people. You may be interested in things I have never considered, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have an interest if introduced to it. It takes all sorts to keep the world ticking over. I like people to be real, fake people aren't for me. Just be yourself, unless yourself is a bigot who hates everything and everybody. Life's too short to hold grudges and that thing that made you who your are doesn't have to be held onto if it isn't doing you any good. You really can be a better person today, than you were yesterday.

I like going to the cinema which is a thing I started doing more regularly recently, I like watching movies at home and cooking. In the autumn I will be starting going to the gym and swimming again. I think everybody needs somebody, for friendship, for fun and maybe for love. Who knows? I guess that's why I came here to find out.
