I thought it was about time I filled out this part of my profile, I'm just an ordinary bloke who is happy with the simple pleasures in life but scrubs up well in a suit, I served in the army for 10 years as a front line soldier and got to do some amazing things around the world, after leaving I spent over 30 years as a Hgv driver but a fall from height has left me with a bad shoulder that's still not right 2 and a half years on, currently unemployed but retraining in the mental health sector.

As for the other person I'm looking for the only thing that is a must is honesty that's about it really.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's nice and quiet and an easy walk into town.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Days out, weekends away, county shows, museums, all sorts of things if fun and or interesting.

Canada, Cyprus are the main 2.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Jordan to visit Petra.

To go for a drink or coffee to chat.

Honesty above all else.

Give and take, willingness to talk through any problem.

Sitcoms, Monty python, all sorts of things.

Being presented to the Queen on the tarmac at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus after withdrawing from Lebanon in 84
