What do you like most about where you currently live?

I like that I live within easy reach of everything I need but also easy access to the country or seaside. My home is on a rather quiet development, which is a great change from my previous, very busy, road.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I have been retired from paid work for a long time but enjoy working as a volunteer on issues that impact on older people in the wider community.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Not a gardener but enjoy visiting gardens and parks, easy walks, theatre, scrabble, reading, rumikub, socialising (in no particular order).

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I think the most favourite place in which I have spent time is Guatamala, but I have been fortunate enough to visit many parts of the world and very much enjoy travel and cruising.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Anwhere I have not been already (specially Argentina, where I have family) and, of course, go back to some of the places where I would like to spend more time than possible when cruising.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Enjoy a meal and good conversation initially.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who is caring and considerate and who makes me laugh.

What makes a good relationship?

I think that depends on the people involved and varies. Compromise, sometimes, having similar likes and dislikes, being able to enjoy activities with and without the partner and finding the same things amusing.

What makes you laugh?

All sorts of things and not always what other people find funny.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Having a future!
Seeing all my grandchildren and my great grandchild happy and settled.
And other things that I don't think will happen in my own future but hope will happen in theirs.
