Hi I am 60, have been widowed over 17 years. I live with my son who is 28 and with one of his friends who unfortunately found himself homeless six months ago. I have 2 dog, a small labradoodle and a toy poodle, two cats, two budgies , (yes an odd combination!)

I work as a slimming world consultant, I job I have done for the past 26 years, I love what I do, it does mean I don’t work regular hours, but wouldn’t swap it for the world.

I recently have realised it would be good to have someone else in my life, in what capacity I’m not certain. I had a very happy marriage, but lost him suddenly, leaving me with a 10 year old. He needed me for the next few years so I concentrated on him. There was someone else briefly, but sadly he passed away a couple of years ago.

I would like to have someone for company, to do things together, I’ll try anything once, but you might not get me to do it again 🤣. Am I looking for a sole mate or just a friend? That’s a big question and not one I could answer, I suppose it would be a case of wait and see.

My dogs are very important to me, so you would need to like dogs, the other animals don’t tend to come with me as much, so not as much of an issue. I like to have my dogs with me when I can.

I love going to the theatre, cinema, eating out. Spending time with my dogs. I love to walk on the beach, especially if it is deserted! I don’t play sport but am quite happy to spectate. I love to shop. It would be nice to have someone to spend time with and enjoy their company.
