I can be a tad feisty at times and have a sarcastic sense of humour but I'm a nice person so I'm looking for someone kind of similar if possible..

I do like the German language but have forgotten a lot of it, so someone who knows German or associated languages gets a gold star:).

My hobbies include reading, watching films and programmes, eating out, visiting historical houses such as National Trust, occasionally meeting up with friends and walking. I would like to do more travelling even if it's in the UK, as I'm sure there are some places I haven't seen. I haven't been abroad for a few years and would love to go again.

I DON'T drive and I want to get to know someone by meeting up with them numerous times and see how we get on before I consider any romance. Meeting up halfway to see if we click is no problem if it's not over 60 miles but I won't be moving house in the foreseeable future so I won't maintain having to travel that far each time to meet up or even 40 miles.

A guy who can drive is the ONLY option for a potential partner realistically.
