What do you like most about where you currently live?

I have lived in Cornwall for most of my life. I particularly like living here rather than anywhere else because of the climate, and access to many open spaces such as the beaches, the moors and the wild places that are less visited by tourists. And offer peace and solitude.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Meeting new workmates and potential friends. Its not the job I was trained for but as I grow older in life at least it gives me the opportunities to meet new people of a similar age and interests. It allows me to keep my mental faculties sharp as my age increases. And it gives me some company throughout the days.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking generally across my local beach, which I visit fairly regularly when I'm not working. I enjoy reading mainly about topics which formed the basis of my previous occupation. But also new and diverse topics that I have become interested in now that I have more time to study them.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I particularly liked South East Asia, that of Thailand, Laos Cambodia and Vietnam, but have travelled in the past to Australia, Canada and South Africa. And throughout central Europe when I was much younger.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would like to see the aurora borealis in Iceland.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Perhaps go for a meal at a nice restaurant, or go for a walk on the moors or somewhere where we could talk and find out a bit more about each other.

What are you looking for in a partner?

all the normal things, honesty, integrity faithfulness

What makes a good relationship?

Trusting someone, being honest without any secrets. Accepting that others have had very different lives and opinions.

What makes you laugh?

Someone with a good sense of humour

What music do you like?

I'm willing to listen to all types of music with the right person?, but if I'm on my own and in the car travelling on a long journey I do really like classical music.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I suppose having a career then going back to university late in life. This would be my own achievement. On a personal romantic theme perhaps my previous love.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I'm looking forward with hope to finding someone to become a friend then perhaps share my life.
