Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at me. Someone once said there is the perfect partner for everyone; I really hope this is true and I just haven't found her yet. I am hoping to meet a girl who understands me and the little quirks and traits that make up individuality, just as I can understand hers. Hopefully this will lead to a permanent and loving relationship. Although a geographically close distance would be ideal, I don't have that many ties and would be happy to travel for the right relationship.

I love walking and cycling in the countryside. If you have the whole day free, you can plan a great route and enjoy. Cycling along little country lanes with little traffic or on proper off road routes is wonderful. We had a lovely day’s ride all around Kielder Water, the reservoir in Northumberland, while on holiday. The weather was also perfect which made the whole day spectacular; through the woods, over the dam and by the water.

I also remember mountain walking, being up really high and seeing a patchwork quilt like effect of lots of little fields down below; it brings home some of the real beauty of the planet.

As well as walking and cycling, often combining a nice country pub visit, I am a fan of motorcycle racing. I wouldn’t dream of doing it myself but find it an adrenalin buzz to watch.

I like reading, mainly fiction; you can effectively send yourself to another world, time or place while reading a good book.

I like intelligent thought, whether playing a game, going to a quiz or just general conversation, basically a little mind stimulation!

I am looking for someone with whom I can be as one, the proverbial soul mate. Before you think this is too much of a typical saying, I will say exactly what I mean by that. Someone who thinks the same way in a lot of the important things. There would most likely be things known only to ourselves but no secrets between us. I want to know everything about my one partner and to able to share everything about me. All the ordinary things in life would be that much more special. Basically, someone with whom to share my life and make it magical and enjoys little intimate things like holding hands, kissing that puts life up a level or two.

I am quite quiet and even a little shy at first but when talking to people I come across as intelligent and interested in various subjects (so some have said anyhow). I am not one to shout my own opinions in a crowd but when people know me and ask what I think, I don’t say any old thing but give considered thoughts. Also, people remember me for having quite a good memory. It may take a tiny bit longer than a first brief meeting to get to know the real me but please give me a go; there is a lot more to me than it might look at a first glance.
