Music is important to me, playing as well as listening. I have a passion for guitars, with more than I need, but they are a lot like women. Each one is different, and you have to get to know them to make beautiful music together.

I like to keep fit with tai chi, yoga and walking.

I have a strong interest in eastern philosophy, traditional medicine and meditation.
I enjoy cooking, especially for friends ,and a social life is important. Recently discovered karak milky tea at local Syrian cafe, the ultimate panacea for a bad day.

Reading tends to be non-fictional and I'm currently enjoying the subject of Eastern- Western religion / philosophy common ground. Also Bettany Hughes documentaries, a Dutch series called Black Widow and recently the Baptiste series.

What am I looking for ? ..

Basically to meet and see how it feels, and if it feels good then lets get on with seeing if it's "the one". I'm not looking for an ok fit, it has to be " can't live without ! ", and we'll know if and when that happens, and if not, then we'll have fun along the way and maybe a friendship out of it.

I wrote this in a pensive moment. I stand by its poetic expression of what love is for me, but if it's a turn off, just put it down to a few too many whiskies and ignore.

Lets see if we have the right ingredients to make fine wine. A wine that is uniquely ours, and if we do, lets bottle it and taste the flavour as it matures with time. Ever richer with each year, and nourished with each kiss, adorable glance, and kindly deed. Let us do the work we are meant to do in our later years. The work of savouring and sharing life lived in mutual appreciation, support, and deep all- embracing love. With little to lose and all to gain, lets hold hands and see.
