I am just an ordinary guy, who wants to make friends. Seems the dodgy ones are spoiling the fun for everyone else, but we dare not give up.
An introductory message is not EQUIVALENT to a ' marriage proposal ', going by the way some people have been responding.
Life is easy, and conversations should not be so difficult to trigger.

IF you can't be bothered to respond, I guess it makes blocking you, easier. Just one less shallow person, to worry about.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I have nice neighbours and the location is accessible by private or public transport.
I have lived here a while and it is now home.
There are well marked cycle routes around, and I can reach the canals too, if I feel like viewing the countryside.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

It brings me in contact with various people and it feels nice to be a part of their daily commute stories.
My colleagues are very supportive too, and it makes the pressure of the job, bearable.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I like cycling to the local shops, now and again.
I enjoy DIY, but haven't done that in a while. Gardening floats my boat too, and I used to maintain the communal garden until my mower packed up. Looking to resume, as the weather warms up.
I belong to a few groups online, and I get involved in discussions, bordering on all sorts.
I also enjoy walking.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

For now, I don't have a specific place in mind because the plan is to actually take a tour around the UK, in a sort of campervan, when I can afford one and have the luxury of time.
I believe the word 'favourite' is not set in stone, so the choices might be influenced by moods etc.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

The ' Wonders of the world ', but in no particular order.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Compare notes ( not literally though) as per what we have chatted about, earlier. We could go for a walk, just to put pressure of the meet, off each other.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone in whose presence, I can think aloud. She can expect same from me.
Partnership is about complementing each other, but I have not been lucky yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

What makes a good relationship?

Sincerity, openness, trust and patience.

What makes you laugh?

My sense of humour is very basic, but I don't think I come across as a boring person.
Any wholesome joke, floats my boat ...

What music do you like?

I like Classical music .Anything with piano .
I like the occasional ones with meaningful lyrics, old or modern, and not overly loud.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Surviving the last eighteen (18) years because I had to literally start all over.
Now at a phase where I take things, ' a day at a time ', and with the pandemic of 2020, reality took a clearer form.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Friendship with like minded, as we walk into tomorrow, together.
