Close to the sea and enjoy village life.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Retired, but get much out of voluntary work.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking my dog (only one now: broke my heart to lose one last year). Health Club: swimming and Steam Room. Reading and talking about ideas.

India again, Certainly.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Oh, perhaps Russia, not PC at the moment I know, but interests me

What would you do on an ideal date?

Probably a good conversation over a good meal.

Kindness, mutual respect and trying to please each other

The above I think: kind, caring.

What makes you laugh?

Word play, quick wit.

What music do you like?

All except brass bands and male voice choirs (OMG, I live in Cornwall and will be lynched).

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My son's birth, his development and career.
