NotNormalForNorfolk is single and is seeking females for friendship or a casual relationship or a serious relationship.

I would describe myself as capable, practical, reasonably intelligent and somewhat unconventional. I dress for comfort, don't do collar and tie and really don't get this designer label stuff!

My real escape is walking, I find the space & isolation of the countryside a great way to detach from the modern world, especially if exploring somewhere new. I also have other interests ranging from complimentary therapies to local history. I've replaced my classic car with a classic camper van, giving me the freedom to take short breaks whenever I want. Although not obsessive about any of my activities walking probably does need to be a shared interest. I'm not into the endurance stuff (more a relaxed wanderer) but neither am I a dog walker trying to look interesting.

I'm not that great on superficial small talk with no interest in celebrities or 'the soaps' and football bores me senseless. I've tried and rejected the career thing, having serviced aircraft while still a teenager then managing at the age of 23. If you're looking for a nine to five career man who has exchanged his principles, soul and individuality for a frontal lobotomy & spine removal just for the sake of a company pension then you would do well to pass me by. I'm currently earning my living online while working from home and mingling work in with the rest of my life.
I'm open to whatever happens, happy to find a new friendship, nice company for walks and days out or maybe that someone special. Quite happy to let friendship develop at a natural pace, if the spark isn't there I would much prefer to find a long term friend rather than a short term lover. Who knows what the universe has planned for us?
If you're a little bit different, free thinking, down to earth and don't aspire to living in a Legoland housing estate with 2.4 children, a 3 year old Mondeo and half an Alsation dog then I would love to hear from you.

The negative stuff:
I'm probably too honest for my own good but I do have some lifestyle limitations & think it's only right to be upfront to save wasting anyone's time. I don't use hotels or fly so overseas travel doesn't work for me. Holidays will be limited to the campervan, mostly frequent short breaks.

On the the plus side:
I don't do unfaithful.
I don't do violence.
I don't do control.
I don't do jealously.
I don't do debt.
I don't do drugs.
I don't gamble.
I don't smoke.
I'm a light drinker.
