I'll not sugar coat things, I'm a beer-swilling slob and once the pubs re-open that's where you'll likely find me. Don't expect me to dress up, I don't own anything more than T-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans.

I'm a bit of a pseudo-intellectual and have strong views on most things. I have been known to read The Times and The Wall Street Journal: I like sensible, reasoned discussion.

Please don't see me as some sort of challenge, I'm not up for change. There's little point in making us both unhappy. I'm very much a 'take things as they are' type of guy, hoping to meet similar.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's cheap, it's dry and I can sleep when I want.

What job? I've not worked for years and I have no intention of starting now. I'm allergic to work of any kind.

Swilling beer and watching TV

God only knows. But when it's there, it's there.

Usually, me! I do the oddest things.

I'm not a music person, but if pressed will listen to the ivories being tinkled.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Living so long. I intend being immortal, so far so good.

Who knows? I ain't got a crystal ball.
