Sat here at 4am listening to a mouse eating the carpet under the new bookcase I got at the charity shop and trying to decide whether to empty the bookcase and move it; wondering if it is the same mouse I caught and threw out a couple of weeks ago; thinking maybe now my huose's full of mouses. Do I share with it/them and randomly find things it/they have eaten through or go postal and buy some poison tomorrow.

Enjoy travel, exploring, walking. Currently spending too long trying to decide on a colour change for my front room. Have bought enough testers to paint the Forth bridge the colours of Benetton. Waiting for the days to lengthen so that I can spend more time outside.

I read mainly history and watch mainly history documentaries. Only lived in Scotland for five years and trying to make up for a very poor and England-centric education. My sinful pleasure is comedy and pulp-fiction videos.

I like to think that I am intelligent enough to know just how dumb I am but I do prefer consequential conversation to discussions about TV shows that I do not watch.

63 and still have no idea what I am looking for but determined to try to enjoy the ride while I have my health.
