I have turned my life around, I’m a semi-retired professional photographer, yeah yeah, I know, you've heard it all before, but give me a minute, I work with The Brain Tumour Charity and produce art for my Instagram followers, I'm building quite an audience, maybe I'll get influencer status and advertise cheap tat :D or one day I’ll flog one of those nifty NFT things and make a fortune! :’D

I live with my four fur babies, my adorable kitties, Milly, who is an adorable tortoiseshell, quiet and gentle, Kevin, my tuxedo tom, Moo Moo, the cat from hell, and my adorable puppy, Parker, a French Bulldog, Yorkie Cross, so a love of animals would be a huge bonus! For the moment my 18yr old son lives with me, he's an expert at emptying the fridge!

I've been considered a geek, or perhaps a nerd, I'd love to claim the intelligence for such an accolade but I think it's more to do with my interests and specific knowledge rather than a higher level of thinking.

I am looking for a very special type of person, they will be patient and understanding, they will know that people can indeed change, that some recognize the bad elements within themselves and have worked hard with professionals and services to confront those elements and eliminate them. This person will be non judgemental, they will understand that our life experiences effect us and each of us deals with those experiences differently; they will see I am a thoughtful person, kind, honest, and loyal, and they will appreciate my open nature.
I loathe the terms baggage and drama; none of us have led a truly altruistic life, we each have had our share of events in life, good and bad, how we have dealt with those events, and how we recovered have defined who we are; none of us are nieve enough to assume there are no more events ahead of us.

All I ask is that you are not a heavy drinker, pubs don’t phase me but my party days are long gone, being a recovering alcoholic it's a no brainer avoiding that kind of environment, and to be honest if you don't know what to do if the activity doesn't involve alcohol then you're not for me. I'm not into ANY kind of illegal drugs whatsoever, each to their own but I don't want it in my life. Monogamy only, you know us guys can only cope with one task at a time :D
