My name is Phil, I'm in Stirchley / Kings Heath area of Birmingham. Lived here 20+ years now.
Enjoy cooking and growing things to cook, most of the garden is my veg patch!

I'm seriously into big diy projects around the house! Sometimes walls disappear, not phased by the idea of plastering, electrics, plumbing, tiling or even building small extensions!
Not always the tidiest of people, projects get done at my own speed, fitting in between being a single dad with care and running my own IT company.
My lads are 21 (not living here) and 17.

Any potential girlfriend needs to be happy around 5 large friendly dogs! But one is a puppy! They are absolutely fine when they get to know you but can be a bit intimidating at first lol
Oh and they moult quite a lot, so there's always a bit of fur around the place!

I cook all sorts of food, so really I'm not looking for anyone with restricted diets, allergies, vegetarians, vegans etc!!

I'm into pretty normal stuff, cinema, occasional meals out, takeaways, gigs, concerts etc...
Music wise then rock orientated, last gigs were Nighwish, Circus of Horrors and Gary Numan before this lockdown!

Enjoy getting out with the dogs, walking, camping and exploring interesting places.
Zero interest in football, rugby, cricket, F1 or living a vicarious existence watching countless soaps on tv

My last girlfriend of two years was from up north, she's gone back there now so no recent baggage!
Divorce is long past.

I don't have a "type" as such, be yourself, be honest and you'll get the same in return.
I generally date a bit younger than my age, but that's not set in stone, it's about finding someone attractive.
