What do you like most about where you currently live?

Portsmouth is an island and port. People come here from all over the world. I would like to live in Spain as ive been there several times - but not yet.
Pompey is where I was born & bred. My early memories of it was its military connections - navy, army and marines. Uniforms, military bands, and some gorgeous men.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I don't really like the pace of technology but ive had to get used to it.
I work from home and thats about it.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Definately swimming - reading good books, mainly erotic genre's -
and i like going to Chichester theatre; which is so available when there is a production, musical or drama I fancy - or even an actor that i particualarly like to watch.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Well i've travelled somewhat - I enjoyed Egypt, going down the Nile.
Roaming the markets, but especially visiting the Valley of the Kings, and all the wonderful Temples such as Karnak, and many others.
Once I won a trip to Venice which I could not afford to go to at the time.
and I went down the canals on a gondola drinking in the romance of it all.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I guess it would have to be Japan in springtime when the cherry blossom trees are in bloom.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Nothing special just meet up for a coffee at a local coffee shop or sit in the sunshine drinking a nice cold beer.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I'm not looking for a partner or a permanent relationship.

What makes a good relationship?

I don't believe in a perfect anything! However I know myself well enough now to say that he's got to be straight with me, no lies, if he wants to play the field then he's not for me. I want him to make me feel specail - and be caring and solicitous.

What makes you laugh?

It depends on my mood - I liked the 2 Ronnies series when it was on TV:
I nearly wet myself watching standup comic Billy Connolly a few years ago now. Otherwise the unexpected obsurd and/or ridiculous can tickle my fancy. Listening to other people's conversations can be funny sometimes.

What music do you like?

Again it depends what my mood is. But i do like jazz - soul - rhythm and blues, popular 60, 70's melodious music. However I also like
some classical music such as Wagner, the ultimate Romantic composer. Also Best Tchaikovsky Works: 10 Essential Pieces by the great composer, my favourites being - the‘1812 Overture’, ‘The Nutcracker’, and ‘Swan Lake’.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I really can't answer this question as the so-called highlights have often turned into downlights a bit further down the road.
Life is a series of ups and downs and I guess. Yes I'm a romantic but Ive exprienced a lot of realism in my life as well.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Meeting someone who I can build a trusting, gentle, friendship with and who knows what else?
