Hello to any ladies kind enough to read my profile, I’m Tom ,Thomas really but feel like a naughty little boy when called by my full name, don’t really know what to say about myself, I’ve been a widower for nearly six years, moved house five years ago just before covid struck, which was probably the best time ,keeping me busy with lots of diy projects , after all the work life went suddenly very flat,which made me realise that I’m not a loner, finding someone special though is no easy task, after you’ve spent many years with a partner sharing life together enjoying many experience’s mostly good ones, it’s very difficult to make the adjustment to single life, which is why I’m trying to find another special person on the same wavelength and with similar interests and requirements for the future, if there’s anyone out there that is of the same mind, who loves travel holidays,theatre trips or just chilling at home cuddled up watching the tv with a glass of wine please let me know, I’m very much a traditional guy, very loyal, loving and caring, a bit tactile, love holding hands and kisses, don’t know if that’s good or not, ?, think I’m a good cook,certainly domesticated, I do smoke occasionally but I’m trying to give up , very fond of g&t or a glass of wine, everything in moderation, don’t like beer though, although I like animals I unfortunately am allergic to most ,particularly cats and some dogs, which can be a problem when trying to make any form of relationship, otherwise at 77 years I’m reasonably healthy and active,although my back and knees have been aching since trying to get the garden into shape after all the grotty weather we’ve had so far this year. xx not helping the golf either !!.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I live in a small cul-de-sac of only seven houses on the edge of an estate ,very friendly community with a recreational park at the end of our road, gates are closed between 7pm and 6 am every amenity is available within a mile, pubs restaurants supermarkets etc, and the countryside only half a mile away.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

At the age of 77 my work is only for myself now, diy,gardening, cooking do quite a bit of that to help family out when they are busy,

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Golf is probably my most favourite but like tenpin bowling occasionally,I love travelling and holidays especially driving and exploring, theatre and dining out I enjoy too.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Spain is my most favoured country, weather and scenery plus local food and tapas !, Holland is a beautiful country too, very clean and friendly with better weather than uk, drive there a couple of times a year as my eldest son lives over there.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Often fancied a Caribbean cruise, have only been on a cruise once around the Canary Islands but thoroughly enjoyed it,would like to experience more.

What would you do on an ideal date?

A meal at a nice pub or restaurant or just a coffee somewhere for a chat ,

What are you looking for in a partner?

My ideal partner would be someone who would like to have a genuine lasting relationship, to share all the experiences that two people have in common with each other.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty,loyalty ,compassion and commitment with conversational compatibility with each other.

What makes you laugh?

Anything natural in every day occurrences, not in to todays so called stand up comedy, used to love Dave Allen if you can remember him, made fun of everyday life.

What music do you like?

Most styles of music I like, definitely not rap or hip,

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having two lovely sons, still the best part of my life, and starting my own business in 1989 which I had for 25 years until retirement.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Finding someone special to share love and affection for as long as possible,
