After becoming widowed nearly five years ago, and moving back to the UK from Denmark, it's now time for me to stop being a hermit and start having some fun evenings out with the right person.

I'm told that I have a great sense of humour and a rare ability which enables me to listen as much as talk. My interests are wide and varied but include the usual topics like music (I play guitar and bass guitar and have been known to build them too from time to time), history, film and television, arts and science. I like a good game of Scrabble and quizzes too - but only in a part-nerdy way...
