I think communication is key to a good, healthy and happy relationship. Also, it's better to go into a relationship with the intention to give rather than to take. Too many people enter into relationships in order to get something

Silliness and not taking life seriously. It is far too short to be taken seriously. A good anecdote well executed would also go down well.
