I have been single since the start of lockdown in 2019.

I separated from my wife in 2011, for the next few years I was on dating sites, but could not find a decent person.

If you are on a dating site for more than a couple of months, expect to be on them for years, if you want to get off the dating sites, put a bit of reality into your search, you are no longer the hot young thing every man wanted, so Chad is not going to be interested, have a very good ,long ,honest look in the mirror, then come up with a realistic approach to finding a partner, my top advice for women is go for the older man, he will treat you better, you will look and feel younger with him and if it does not work out, never mind, you could soon be getting his pension, lol.

When lockdown came it was an opportunity to assess things, I decided I was putting in to much effort for to little return, ( I also had an unpleasant experience in 2017 with a woman on a dating site, that affected my opinion of women).

I have been single for quite a while, I think it is time to see if things have got better or declined, if they have not improved, I can continue to be by myself, as like many men , I have learnt to get by on my own.
