I like being outside walking and exploring places, cold water dipping , cooking , reading , cinema , theatre , music of all genres, sci fi films , police / murder dramas and chatting about current affairs but NOT about celebrity or sporting stars .

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Its in WALES , but only an hour away from the coast and 2 major cities

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Retired but I do volunteer

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy walking and talking , planning my next trip away .
A regulat attendee at Northern Soul events and recently started cold water swimming .
But not necessarily looked for a dance partner or swimmer.
I believe in separate hobbies

Where in the world are your favourite places?

South Stack , or a beach anywhere with a special person.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Ive done some far off travelling including China , Japan ,Australia and New Zealand .
Although there are lots of places in the UK I'd like to see and it would be good to have company to visit various UK destinations .

What would you do on an ideal date?

Meet for coffee and cake , walk a bit , talk a bit , laugh a lot and make plans for next time.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone confident but not arrogant , a man who realises that an independent woman still likes to be treated with respect .
Someone who is articulate but has the ability to listen also .
Mind reading is a marvellous trait as is a sense of humour .

What makes a good relationship?

Talking and laughing a realisation that caring / love can be expressed in many ways , and that money doesn't buy love either .

What makes you laugh?

Life generally , not so keen on American humour , I like situational humour as opposed to stand up , although I have seen Rob Brydon and he was hilarious .

What music do you like?

A mixture , from Rock , Blues and Soul, including Northern .
I'm very fond of live music played well.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Driving the Great Ocean road in Australia by myself.
Riding in the Bullet train
A midnight BBQ whilst looking at Uluru / Ayers Rock and the stars .
Wild swimming with Dolphins

What are you looking forward to in the future?

More excitement in my life that is shared with a good man

What about reading the papers ?

I used to read the Guardian but now just keep up with the news via the TV , Radio and Twitter .i think it’s called progress
