Twolegs is widowed and is seeking females for friendship or a casual relationship or a serious relationship.

I'm 79, widowed, tall, slim, fit and healthy. I have a daughter in Spain and a son in Surrey. I live in a village near Ashbourne in Derbyshire. I lost my wife in 2020 after 11 years of coping with Alzheimer's. I retired at the age of 57 after an enjoyable and successful career in education. I have a Master's Degree in Literature.
I enjoy dining out, cosy tearooms, village pubs or excellent restaurants but home-cooked meals are now a rare delight. I enjoy theatre of all sorts including musical, professional or amateur. Occasional cinema visits are welcome but I watch lots of films via my TV. I like to travel around the UK, remote rural areas, the coast, city breaks, NT properties, anything interesting. I visit Spain and Italy a lot but would welcome trips to other European countries. I get to galleries and museums quite often. Relatively recently I've joined two local branches of the U3A and two branches of The Arts Society. This has resulted in several interesting and enjoyable activities: walking, theatre, meals, lectures, etc. My main hobby is photography but I also get pleasure from woodwork, DIY and generally making things.
I've allowed my life to slide into a rather boring routine in recent years - and I want to change that. I'm hoping that I will meet an attractive, slim(ish) woman, of roughly my age, living less then 25 miles from here. I'm not looking for a 24/7 relationship but hope that we will spend plenty of time together, doing lots of interesting and enjoyable things including some short breaks and holidays so that each of us is looking forward eagerly to our next meeting.
