I'm a fairly down to Earth man, who has a good sense of humour/fun. I'm not a particularly complicated person and don't haul around a bunch of emotional baggage with me. I travel light in that respect.

I'm a Chef and have generally worked for an agency, so work in a variety of different venues, some great and some pretty awful! In a previous life, I worked in tech, at a senior level, but got fed up and decided to make my life less, er, complicated.

In terms of hobbies etc.,I'm an outdoor person and really enjoy walking and hiking in and around my local area. I used to do a fair bit of mountaineering, but there are not many suitable mountains along the Thames, which is a shame :(

I've started to dabble in Astrophotography, which given I live in the SE, is mainly confined swearing at clouds

I love to cook, read, as well as listen to music/radio 6. I must confess to not being a TV person, but I do watch the occasional movie or boxset when the mood takes me.

I guess I'm looking to meet someone who enjoys walks along the river, the occasional pint in a rural pub. Ideally, someone who appreciates the little things in life, who enjoys cuddles and giggles.

Hopefully, someone who enjoys music, the occasional indie gig and a wee bop about from time to time.

I have excellent manners, wash on a regular(ish) basis, and am more or less fully house-trained. I do scrub up quite well, if you can prise me away from my boots and chunky jumpers.

I don't take myself or life too seriously. I do have a mischievous streak though, so be warned :)

OK, maybe it's just me, but why do so many women on here put pictures with all of their friends in them? I sometimes wonder who's photo I'm actually looking at. Also, many of you seem to have pikkies with your sunglasses on. Why is that? Black eye? Bloodshot eyes? Cross-eyed? Genuinely curious :)
